This has been a
difficult year. I'm not sure if Phoebe, my Mom's dog, or
I could have made it through without Miranda's
assistance and the energy and guidance she was able to
give us.
My mother passed away in May. Thanks to Miranda sharing
Reiki with me during this difficult time, I was able to
let go. And the gift of the healing energy she sent to
my Mom contributed to her passing peacefully. There is
still great sadness, but the continued healing energy

Phoebe, my Mom's Beagle, came to live with us when my
Mom went in the hospital. Phoebe had been with my Mom
when she took ill. It must have been very traumatic for
Phoebe. Every day, she would stand in the living room
"moaning" towards the front door. It was a sound that in
all my years working with and loving animals I have
never before heard ... and that I hope to never hear
again. It was the most heart-wrenching noise imaginable.
Miranda was sending me some much
needed energy one day and was drawn to send it to
Phoebe. I had been so wrapped up in my own sadness that
I had been unable to help Phoebe and I had never even
mentioned Phoebe's distress to Miranda. But, thankfully,
Miranda felt the need to connect with Phoebe. I know
that it was extremely draining for Miranda. But that was
when Phoebe stopped the "moaning" and started to settle
into her new home. Had Miranda not helped by sending the
healing energy to Phoebe, I truly believe her heart
would have broken and we could have lost her.
