The American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior (AVSAB) recently released a position statement on the use of punishment for behavior modification (training), which received some press from AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association--looked to as the "gold standard" for quality veterinary care). Purrfect Paws strongly supports the AVSAB's statement and join with the AAHA in supporting the position statement. |

The Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers has created the only independent, psychometrically sound test that is not affiliated with any school or training program. |
