This story is a little different, because it is not about a dog that has ever met Miranda or been at Purrfect Paws. Astro lives in Houston with another member of the family where he was "exiled" after biting one of our son's friends. Now ten years old, Astro was always a timid, submissive, and fearful dog; afraid of loud noises, children, strangers... in fact, just about everything. He is, however, a beautiful, affectionate American Eskimo completely devoted to our family.

His utter devotion is both his greatest strength and his greatest liability;

My wife and I have two American Pit Bull Terriers adopted from the local SPCA. Thanks to the time and patience provided by Purrfect Paws Animal Behavior Center, one of our dogs was able to work through significant dog fear issues that resulted in some dog-dog aggression.  Also with the help of Miranda both our dogs became certified Therapy Dogs
