Level II Obedience focuses on improving and solidifying the skills from Level I Obedience while dealing with increasing distractions. A portion of the class curriculum includes experimenting with off-leash work. Learning to work with your dog as a teammate without the safety net of “the leash” or “the treats” can be a challenging and extremely rewarding step in your relationship. You will practice “real-life” situations like attending a picnic, answering the door for a pizza delivery, etc.

No more than eight (8) dogs per class.
** First week is a humans-only information session - no dogs allowed this week

Pre-Requisites

• Successful completion of a Level I Obedience (or equivalent) class
• Current on Rabies, DHPP, bordatella (kennel cough) vaccinations. Titers accepted.
• Free from all parasites (worms, fleas, ticks, etc)
• Properly fitted buckle collar (no chokes, prongs or electric shock) and 4-6’ leash (no retractables).
• Gentle Leaders or EZ Walk Harnesses (front clip harnesses) will also be accepted.
• Hands-free leash or equivalent
